Introduction

ADF immersion activity range in length, scope and location generally run in conjunction or as a part of an ADF exercise. The aim of these immersions is to enhance the availability of reservists by further developing community and employer support for the reservists. ADF immersions are designed to be enjoyable, stimulating and geared towards information sharing and developing personal skills rather than physical exertion. Average fitness levels are sufficient. Employers, particularly HR managers and those who supervise reservists, are encouraged to participate in these engagement activities.
